The evolution of Kell's magic throughout the Shades of Magic series

By admin

Kell possessing a deeper shade of magic In the fantasy novel "A Darker Shade of Magic" by V.E. Schwab, one of the main characters, Kell, possesses a deeper shade of magic. Kell is a rare magician known as an Antari, with the ability to travel between parallel Londons. These Londons exist in different dimensions, each with varying levels of magic. Kell's unique magic allows him to access all four Londons, including Grey London (a world without magic), Red London (a world abundant in magic and ruled by benevolent monarchs), White London (a world where magic is scarce and power is brutally sought after), and the mysterious Black London (a world consumed by dark magic and no longer accessible).

THE BALANCE OF POWER HAS FINALLY TIPPED…
The precarious equilibrium among four Londons has reached its breaking point. Once brimming with the red vivacity of magic, darkness casts a shadow over the Maresh Empire, leaving a space for another London to rise.

It was such a beautiful end to an awesome trilogy that I will never forget the shades of magic series is one of my favourite ever and I want everyone to read this series. Antari are immune to the disease that Osaron is spreading so they go out to mark as many people as possible with their blood but it s not enough they need to stop Osaron, not just save people.

While most Antari can only travel between Red and Grey London, Kell's deeper shade of magic allows him to navigate the dangerous and forbidden Black London. This ability, however, comes with its own risks and consequences.
